There's an rdate implementation in busybox, but we seem to be using
rdate-udeb. I'm therefore reassigning this bug report to that package,
which probably should behave properly (defaulting to 37). I should
note there's already this patch there, which seems quite relevant:
  debian/patches/04-434452-avoid-libnss-files-library.patch
