what is "binary"? What is "efi.img"? What is the working dir?

Can you please provide detailled instructions as I go from errors to
errors. Last one:

bootx64.efi -O x86_64-efi -p /efi/boot `find -iname '*.mod' | xargs |
sed -e 's/.mod//g'`
grub-mkimage : error :  cannot stat ./extcmd.mod.
