Bug#673468: Successful installation on Qemu, but german keymap is missing umlauts
I performed a test installation with Beta2, using
debian-wheezy-DI-beta2-kfreebsd-i386-netinst.iso
on qemu.
(I wrote this bugreport initially for a installation on
virtualbox. Now, beta2 does no longer boot on virtualbox.
alpha1 and beta1 boot correctly. This is why I switched
to qemu for this test.
The kfreebsd beta2 netinst burned to a CD boots fine on my
Thinkpad T60.)
Summary: installation went fine!
The only glitch I noticed was, that the umlauts (ä,ö,ü,ß)
are missing from the german keymap: german keymap was selected
in the console (in the installer AND in the installed system),
but when typing the umlauts, no character is shown.
