Comments/Problems:
Configure network:
- recognition of Ethernet and WLAN card is correct. LAN card would need non-free firmware (not offered since not found on net - not invested much time in that).
- WLAN installed, WEP authentication passed, IP assigned, setup of LAN via DHCP failed! (in another try WLAN was configured manually, but it didn't work either).
Clock/timezone setup:
- fails because of missing network connection, manual setup not offered (?)
Overall install:
- touchpad works only in first few screens (had to try how many actually)
- after installation is finished and system reboots, grub is started, OS selected, boot process starts, after /dev filesystem is populated, screen gets corrupted (no matter whether desktop packages are selected during the installation or not) and system hangs. System is unresponsive to any key.
