Package: netcfgVersion: 1.102When attempting an install of Wheezy (AMD64) using the ISO image dated 2012/12/03 on cdimage.debian.org, my network device is not recognised. When I try to proceed after selecting 'no ethernet card', I am given a warning that the installation system was unable to find a network device. When I then proceed to configure the hostname, on selecting 'continue', I am presented with an error message: "An installation step failed. You can try to run the failing item again from the menu, or skip it and choose something else. The failing step is: Configure the network"In the output of dmesg, I see the following message:netcfg[9685]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f8b8983d6dc sp 00007fff6917bc38 error 4 in libc-2.13.so[7f8b89723000+180000]The addresses in the above message appear to change with every attempt to run the network configuration.
