Comments/Problems:
After BIOS have done its NVRAM check the message on screen say:
Searching for Boot Record on CDROM...Not Found

Thus the Packard Bell system bios (AMIBIOS) does not find the Boot Record on wheezy beta-2, but it does when using wheezy beta-1 image CD. Just to make sure it was not a media issue I have booted beta-2 disc on another computer and that worked OK. I have also burned a second copy of wheezy beta-2 on different brand of the CD disc - without success. Finally I have tried to boot with wheezy beta-2 CD1 image without success on the Packard Bell NEC.

I'm aware that this is very old hardware, albeit I'm curious what changed in the CD disc Boot Record between beta-1 and beta-2 wheezy images.

I have attached the hardware-summary, kern.log, syslog and df output when installing using the working beta-1 image.

Cheers
Bertil
