Install Objective: Minimal install of XFCE



Personal Log of install:
-Advanced install, just the base system
-timezone setup seems to give me Canadian timezones 
 (I selected Mexico-General)
-Reboot in failsafe (ring0), Login as root
-Run aptitude with user interface.


-Search and install: 
	gamin
	xserver-xorg-video-ati
	xorg (this order and I install ONLY my video driver)
	xfce4 (this is a gtk desktop so please
		deselect gvfs and xscreensaver)
	xtrlock (here you have your screen-lock)
	xfce4-mount-plugin
	gnome-screenshot (no additional dependencies here)
		(xfce4-screenshot has 101 additional deps!)
	geany
	iceweasel-l10n-es-mx



- Must I HOLD gvfs and xscreensaver?


All right, I include a SCREEN-SHOT showing
the LOW consumption of resources.

From here you can include app metapackages for light, 
medium or heavy users, and for servers,
and for programming platforms... :)

Probably because you chose Canada as country.

Given that your installation was a complete success, I do as
usual with reports for successful installations: I close the bug..:-)

This does not of course mean you weren't right to report. Knowing the
installations are correct is important for the d-i team.
