Now I'm in suspense.  Andrew, do you still have access to this machine?
If so, what OS does it have installed now?  Would you be interested in
pursuing this bug along the lines Miguel mentioned?  ("No" is a fine
answer, but please do let us know so we can plan accordingly.)
