After GRUB I get graphical “snow” and graphical errors. The system also freezes and doesn’t let me do anything besides a hardreset. With the boot parameters noacpi, acpi=off and vga=normal it’s possible to see that after several USB-related timeouts & errors [ata1.00: qc timeout (cmd 0xec); ata1.00 failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x4)], which are annoying, but bearable, the system seems to be unable to find the volume group I defined [Volume group “sys” not found]. Additionally the system can’t find the root device after that [Gave up waiting for root device.]. rootdelay is set to 120, so I don’t think it has not enough time. What follows is an endless loop of “Call Trace”. |
