Simply, correctly
desktop base had it right in defining the logo copyright/licensing for squeeze.
I could even understand that...

I think Joey has this defined as near to prefect as it gets.
Further, he is the only one, that I can recall, even touching d-i, Live, Grub

It took me a few times reading this email before I started to begin to understand
why Joey brings up  such a simple, integration of graphics  to use as a starting point,
for the critical initial screens.

Oui, oui, which graphics install on top of the initial screens is not important to me,
other than those graphics package[s] be built so it is easy to followup, if changes need to be made,
for whatever possible reason[s].

Keep it simple, especially for the installer suit and initial screens.
Don't mess with upstream graphic in "any" why, that could in "any" way make debian package team[s] job
more difficult than it already is.
Than build around, on top of, or integrated into what is already well tested and im-prov-ing,
day in and day out.
