Package: debian-installer

Wrong sound module, snd-aoa, is loaded on PowerMac3,4.

Currently the most usable sound driver for this machine is
snd-powermac. To make it load on boot, the following modules ought to
be blacklisted:

snd-aoa
snd-aoa-codec-tas
snd-aoa-fabric-layout
snd-aoa-i2sbus
snd-aoa-soundbus

and:

snd-powermac

should be added to /etc/modules.

This could be a temporary solution, until snd-aoa will support the machine.

Closing the original bug report. It should indeed have been closed
with the upload of hw-detect 1.85, but the "Closes" line in
debian/changelog was split on two lines and thus the bug remained opened.

I think that other issues you reported belong to other bug
reports. Please report them separately, probably not against D-I
components as they don't seem to happen during the installation process.
