Bug#653391: debian-installer: udev does not load proper sound modules during wheezy installation on powerbook5, 6
Package: debian-installer
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
After Debian installation on Powerbook5,6 sound was not working so I removed snd-powermac wrongly included by installer in
/etc/modules but udev failed to load proper modules which it should do. Other behaviour is considered a bug.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I included necessary modules which should be loaded by udev into /etc/modules:
snd_aoa_i2sbus
snd_aoa_fabric_layout
snd_aoa_codec_tas
* What was the outcome of this action?
Sound is working fine.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Working sound.
