unetbootin: 408-1ubuntu0.10.04.2
first attempt: default on usb boot, default install, gtk-warning, no intel module, black screen
second attempt:gui install, unable to connect to mirrors[taiwan]
went back to installation phase, d-i warned about overwriting files, continued
went again to primary taiwan mirror, successfully connected and downloaded files
after installation complete; able to reboot to grub, and load the desktop
