Bug#635336: debian-installer: USB install: fails to "mount CD"
On Mon, Jul 25, 2011 at 12:40, Adam Borowski <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Boot and initial steps of d-i go just fine.
However, it later fails at the "Detect and mount CD-ROM" stage. The machine
happens to physically have one, it's just empty. Trying to skip the stage
doesn't work. Only manually doing: mount -tvfat /dev/sdb /cdrom will let
the installation to continue.
We uploaded iso-scan (1.36) with a fix that might solve this issue. Please give a try using tomorrow's daily.
