Comments/Problems:
The system was reinstalled with a daily build iso after trouble with the
RC2 installer (grub not correctly configured, system not bootable).
Harddrive hda had been configured to work as main drive when running the
daily build installer (after the initial RC2 install went wrong, i
installed the machine without raid to see if it was working):
hda1 was swap, hda2 /boot, hda3 / and hda4 /var.
hdb had still been configured for raid use with
hdb1 as swap, hdb2 raid, hdb3 raid, hdb4 raid
The partitioner showed three raid devices that were still active from the
first installation /md0 (member hdb2), /md1 (member hdb3), /md2 (member
hdb4).
I deleted the raid devices with the raid manager. Repartitioned both
harddrives to each have a swap and 3 data partitions for raid usage.
When I entered the Raid manager again after repartitioning to create raid
devices, it showed the raids to be still existing, although the raids were
deleted before and did not show up in the main partitioning screen! I had
to again delete all raid devices and create new raid devices without
leaving the raid manager to make it work. It seems like the raid manager
might be not writing the configuration correctly...

Cheers
Morten

Thanks for your report.
Closing as it's an installation report.
Feel free to test and report any issues against the current debian
installer release (Squeeze RC1) which supports more hardware and also
it's improved.
