My udebs weren't perfect, but still, they apparently only needed some
tweaks. I've described my experience in [1]. It also looks like they
are actually usable since now I've got X running within d-i, as
related in [2]. As said there, next step is Pango/Cairo/Gtk.

(Of course, my udebs are bloated, and they are plenty of libs that
probably shouldn't be linked against. The idea is just to try and make
things work, and then only figure out what's not needed, and
strip/remove/slash accordingly. That's just a proof of concept being
worked on right now.)
