Package: debian-installer
Severity: wishlist

My system has both an ethernet network interface and a firewire
interface. The firewire interface is apparently also handled as an
ethernet interface, receiving the 'eth0' name.

The problem is now that this interface shows up in the network interface
selection screen, and this is the interface selected by default. As I
don't assume that many people use their firewire interface as their
primary networking interface, I suggest that the other card is made the
default selection. (if easily done, maybe this could be done by
changing the numbering).

Regards, Geert-Jan.
