I don't really understand the use cases for this.... Either the machine is configured to boot from CD first, then if you leave a CD in the tray, it's logical that you want to boot from it and not the HD... Or, if you want the machine to boot from the HD automatically when rebooted even if the installer CD is in the tray, then configure the machine to boot from HD, then CD....
