Package: InstalationVersion: 3.1 r4 hppaHi, I have HP c3600 visualize workstation.I am trying to install Debian 3.1 r4 hppaand it keeps reporting an error who's screenshots I attached below. The download has been done twice( I don't have a broadband connection, a Linux downloader did it and I trust himthat he did it correctly)He checked md5sum and other things, I checked md5sum and didn't findthe error, the files are readable and everything seams fine but it doesn't work. The third screenshot shows an irregular menu display as if it is unfinished versionof your distribution. It is present in other menus too.The only possible explanation to this problem is that the source of download is corrupted. Can you help me with this matter and tell me how can I run Debian on my HP.I will provide you with any information you need.It is DVD version (2 DVD's)The error is in at the main menu after choosing language, keyboard, ... and when it checksthe DVD for the first time. While pressing 'Yes' on 'Retry?' I can see that it is reporting an error on./pool/main/p/parted/libparted1.6-udeb_1.6.21-1_hppa.udebfile.Thank you very much,Spasojevic MiodragKaradjordjeva 17/131260 Kosjeric+381 (0) 63 7760 590Attachment: 1.gif

We are closing this installation report for one of the following reasons: - it was reported with a pre-lenny version of Debian Installer. - indications in the installation report give the feeling that the reported problem waslying in another software, unrelated to D-I, which we can't easily identify. - indications in the installation report suggest that it may have been fixed in a more recent version of a D-I component - it was successful and we forgot closing it..:-) - it has no information we consider useful The D-I team is currently in the process of cleaning out the old spool of installation reports that haven't bene processed yet. In case you think that the problem you reported has chances to be still present, please reiterate your installation test with a more recent image of D-I, if you're in position of doing this. You'll find daily builds at http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer. We recommend you choose the netboot image, in the "daily builds section", then choose to install "squeeze" when prompted. If some problems are found, please report them with a new bug sent against installation-reports. Many thanks for your understanding and your help improving Debian, past and present.
