Could you give us the messages that appear on the fourth console? As Aurélien was explaining, if something is on-interactive when installed, then *this* package has a bug, not d-i. Unless we can find which package to reassign this bug report, I think we should close it. Having D-I to wait indefinitely when a package is prompting the user is *normal* behavior for D-I (the faulty part is tha package).
