Thanks for the tip (I expected parameters would appears earlier in d-i
manual, so didn't notice the 2 lines in toc).

So, the problem was it Hercule's E-café uses AMD Geode L/G? ship.

so, bug #443979 explains video=lxfb:...

I tried several resolution combination. One seems to be satisfying with

video=lxfb:720x400-32@75 vga=788

seems to be /almost/ good, while both tui and gui screens fits in large
but... *fits not in height* : they are expanded regarding the lists line
count.

adding directfb=true, also tried vga 1152x768 vga mode
with according lxfb fits out of screen in both directions.

classic 800x600 video mode passed to video=lxfb: have same problem.

however, the kernel doc I found on lxfb module is really uncomplete
while the possibles values combinations are not given.

I didn't notice how to force installer dimensions in D-I manual.

Have anyone a solution to fix installer height ?
