Bug#590507: please allow proxy specification without http:// prefix

Hello,

the subject says it all. I would like to quickly enter "10.1.2.3:1234"
without the http:// prefix. Because the question is about http proxy
anyway, the installer could append http:// internally if it was not
specified by user.
