Bug#584990: debian-installer: "expert" mode install on PowerPC doesn't ask "expert" mode questions

Package: debian-installer
Version: testing "businesscard" sid_d-i Binary-1 20100608-04:27
Severity: important

Download the current businesscard iso:

Daily build #3 for powerpc, using installer build from sid
This build finished at Tue Jun 8 04:29:30 UTC 2010.
	[ ] debian-testing-powerpc-businesscard.iso 08-Jun-2010 06:28 67M
Burn it to CD-R
Boot that CD on G4 PowerMac
Choose "expert" mode install
At the "choose language" screen, go "back"
at main menu, choose "change priority"
observer that priority is set to "high" even though I chose "expert" at boot.
change to low and continue installation normally in "expert" mode.

Without the "change to low" step, it continues as if I had chosen "install" rather than "expert"...

Installation fails later due to (presumably) unrelated bug -- reported elsewhere.
So this bug report is being done on the same hardware but with a working (older) installation.

install.tar.gz logs attached.
