Bug#514365: debian-installer: Disk partitioning - Text mode installer freezing when deleting old LVM partitions used by Xen guests

Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

Debian installer running in text mode has frozen when I was trying to
delete old LVM partitions which where used by previous XEN guests.
After freezing it is possible to switch to another console, but it is
not possible to continue installation.

I had the same problem on 2 different machines.
1. trying to install i386 system without any RAID. i386 system with LVM
Xen guest where installed on disk before.
2. trying to install amd64 system with software RAID. amd64 system with
RAID 1 and LVM Xen guest where installed on disk before.

The same problem I had using Debian installer RC1 and RC2, text mode
installation.
