Bug#549879: debootstrap: --variant=minbase is broken for squeeze

Same error can be reproduced on squeeze (using debootstrap 1.0.19). I have no sid environment to test at the moment.

Versions of packages debootstrap depends on:
ii binutils 2.19.91.20091006-1 The GNU assembler, linker and bina
ii  wget                  1.11.4-4           retrieves files from the web

Versions of packages debootstrap recommends:
ii gnupg 1.4.10-2 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep

debootstrap suggests no packages.
