It certainly would be useful. (If you can spare the time.)

I'm semi-regularily doing installs with root-on-crypto, so I'm
fairly confident that it is not completely broken right now, but
there are always interesting corner cases.

So if we could confirm the problem (or confirm it being solved),
that would definitely be useful!
