Package: tasksel
Version: 2.15
Severity: minor

Currently the cache is always deleted as soon as aptitude finishes package
installation.
This is very not nice if the installation fails for some reason (or is
cancelled by the user) as packages will have very likely have to be
downloaded again, and again, ...

I suggest that the cache only be cleaned if there were no errors during
the installation.

As tasksel calling aptitude is no longer used in D-I, and as the D-I
process was the main motivation for Frans' initial report, I think
there is indeed no more bug here.

What remains is that when aptitude is cancelled by the user (if using
tasksel interactively), then aptitude exit code is non zero...and
tasksel reports about this. Which is indeed logical...

Whether aptitude should or not exit with a non-zero error code is
actually out of scope for this bug report.
