Great.  Now you have several options to get it work without manual
intervention:

 * boot with rootdelay=6 (or more, as needed), or
 * boot with scsi_mod.scan=sync, or
 * load (and possibly unload) the scsi_wait_scan module after all SCSI
   drivers in the initramfs.

The list is ordered by complexity and "correctness", as far as I know.
