If a user chooses a predefined install path from the installer combining it with a predefined set of package from taskselect then the user should never experience a situation with a failed install. As I don't expect the installer is choosing partition sizes at random but uses some kind of algorithm then in my book this means the algorithm is having a serious bug. To summe it up I urge that the install team to reconsider this and stop the release process until this bug has been fixed. Surely this scenario I have described will encounter since many users these days installs in virtual environments to test things out before going in production. A situation where users follows guided installation paths from the installer should not end of in a situation where the install fails. -- Hilsen/Regards Michael Rasmussen Get my public GnuPG keys: michael <at> rasmussen <dot> cc http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xD3C9A00E mir <at> datanom <dot> net http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE501F51C mir <at> miras <dot> org http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE3E80917 -------------------------------------------------------------- As flies to wanton boys are we to the gods; they kill us for their sport. -- Shakespeare, "King Lear"
