Package: console-setup
Version: 1.13
Severity: important

I notice my console fonts were not displaying graphics properly, so I
reach to console-setup package. I installed it, select the below
configuration and the the package installed as usual, but it stopped at
configuring....

After waiting for about 5 minutes I did a pstree and found that setupcon
was calling echo like this:
/bin/echo -n -e \033%G

This corresponds to line 144 in setupcon script.

I then killed the echo process and I had a warning but the package did
its job.

I then restart the configuration using dpkg-reconfigure. Same problem.

This is the pstree I got:
console-setup.postinst configure 1.13
invoke-rc.d console-setup start
setupcon
/bin/echo -n -e \033%G

I now kill the last process (echo). The warning is: /bin/setupcon : line
140: 14154 Terminated /bin/echo -n -e '\033%G' >$console done.

  Hello:

I've done some tries as to reproduce the bug, but I failed to reproduce.
Most probably it has been fixed meanwhile, so I'm closing this one.

  Thanks.
