Comments/Problems:

PROBLEMS:
- Installation didn't setup CPU frequency control. Quite important for
a laptop, had to install by hand and force powernow_k8 module load.
Had some problems tuning for a "ondemand" setup on both cores.
- Wireless doesn't work with kernel driver bcm43xx. Installed
Broadcomm's closed source binary driver and works perfectly:
http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php
- Sound not working. Fix is to add two lines to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base:
	options snd-cmipci mpu_port=0x330 fm_port=0x388
	options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=toshiba position_fix=1
(yes toshiba model in a HP laptop :) ).

- Wacom tablet not working. Needs linuxwacom 0.8.1.0-5, debian is
shipping 0.7.x for now. Manual installation works ok. Configuration is
very tricky, some kind of help from the installer will be very
appreciatted here.
- PC Speaker sux big time beeping very loudly, had to blacklist
- Problems with external monitor, if external res. is wider than 1280.
Seems X radeon driver problem, Follow up in
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=503664
- Buttons for DVD player launch and image rotation don't work out-of-the-box.
- Monitor out activation combination does not work (Fn+F4)
- When changing laptop to tablet mode, image does not rotate 180º
automatically (and xrandr seems to crash if tried by hand)
- Remote control does not work

OK:
Keyboard, touchpad, volume buttons (except when mute color doesn't
change from blue to red/orange like on windows), webcam, usb ports,
play/fw/rw buttons.

NOT TESTED:
Thumbnail reader
Flash card reader seems correctly detected, didn't test it.
S-VHS output

Just reply if I can help with further tests.

Thanks a lot for all your hard work.
Eneko.

None of the problems you mention are considered to be inside the scope of
the installer. From our point of view this was a completely successful
installation and therefore I'm closing your report. Thanks a lot for
submitting it and good luck with the new system.

This sounds like a kernel bug. If you want to follow up on this, your best
bet is to report it to the upstream kernel developers for the alsa
driver.

Cheers,
