Comments/Problems:
I tested the graphic installation, it was simple and neat!

Some things I observed during my installation that could be improved:
* My USB-mouse is not detected automatically if I plug it in when the
setup has started. On the other hand, it works well if I have the
USB-mouse connected when I start the computer.
* For the numeric values to be filled in, I think it would be grate to
have a plus and minus button on the side of the field, and only let
the field accept numerical feeds. An example is when you fill out the
percentage of a volume to be set aside only for root (reserved
blocks).
* When to fill in passwords, I think that there should be an
interactive controller, which notifies the strength of the chosen
password while you type it in.
* After the network is configured, the installer should show the
results of the configuration. Show what IP, gateway, subnet etc is
configured.
* A lightweight web server on port 80 which provides logfiles and
results from special commands ("lspci", "lsusb", "dmesg" etc) and the
status and overview of the installation while the setup program is
running.
* A list/menu that is always visible on the left side that shows where
in the installation process you are at the moment. I think that would
be a good overview.

Now to the sad stuff:
* My installation went well (2.6.24-1-amd64), but when I ran the
following command after the installation "# aptitude update &&
aptitude upgrade" and rebooted into the new kernel (2.6.25-2-amd64), I
got "kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on
unknown-block(253,0)" I have installed the root volume on LVM2 on top
of mdadm (raid1) and the installer suggested lilo 22.8 as bootloader.
The bug has been identified as Bug#479607.
