Bug#484356: DHCP network setting in Debian AMD64 testing network install not working

Hi Frans,
I'll give it a try. The problem is still very strange in the fact that using a image made the day after I had no problem with Network.
I also had the same problem with a stable version and a Ubuntu 8.
I managed to install a Debian amd64 but will for sure test the new installer and give it a try.

Regards,

Manuel

As we have had no other reports of problems with either DHCP or networking
on amd64 I suspect this is either a kernel issue that affects your
hardware or a local network issue.

We have just released the Beta2 version of the installer which includes a
more recent kernel. Please give that a try [1].

Cheers,
FJP
