So you never see the boot splash screen of the installer, correct?
Do you see anything else, maybe a line with the version of isolinux 
flashing by on the display?

As you get kicked back to the bootloader on your harddisk it would seem 
that the installer never actually gets booted at all and that this is not 
an issue in the installer itself but a regression in syslinux, the 
bootloader used by the installer.

There are two options:
- either it is a general regression in syslinux
- or it could be related to the fact that we now use vesamenu

What was the version of isolinux on the last working netinst you tried (if 
you can still check that)? Was that a Beta1 image or a daily built image?
