Bug#305543: marked as done (d-i should support preseeding of software RAID setup)

Hello,

not an installation report, because they are working fine.

But I need some pointers into the right direction, how to install debian
on a software raid1 using a preseed file.

We are installing Debian for our customer fully unattended. That works
just great, I already sent you guys the installation report template a
few months ago.

So far I was unable to partition more than one harddrive in a preseed
file.=20

I apologize if this is the wrong email address. If so, please direct it
to someone who can help me out on this.

The actual question would be, is there an existing hook for my problem?
If so, is there some documentation how to use it? Because I couldn't
find anything.

We could also write a hook ourselfs, but we need some documentation here
too.

Hi!

Preseeding software RAID setup is possible since the introduction of
the partman-auto-raid package and is available in the current stable
release.

It is documented in the appendix B of the installation manual.
