Package: installation-reports

Debian-installer-version: Built monolithic_2.6 for amd64 (gcc-3.4)
	using svn revision #19897
uname -a: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-amd64-generic-di_0.13_amd64.udeb
	(yes, I know its not the output of uname -a)
Date: Aug 25 13:42:35
Method: boot via USB stick, expert vga=ask

Machine: Shuttle SN85G4V2
Processor: AMD64 3200+ (Newcastle)
Memory: 1 GByte

Comments/Problems:
I booted using 'expert vga=ask'. After the first menu screen came
up, I tried to reboot via ctrl-alt-del. It printed

Aug 25 13:42:35 init: ^MStarting pid 479, console /dev/vc/1: '/bin/sh'

somewhere on the screen, then the machine got stuck completely.
I had to pull the plug. On the next reboot the stick did not
boot anymore, i.e. probably the MBR was overwritten.

Regards

Harri
