Thank you really much for your answer. This machine runs now : 1) with the ACPI BIOS 8.0 wich is the latest one possible but is from 2000. I have verified it on the samsung site. 2) with the kernel 2.6.12-2.3_legacy_FC3 I have tested the memory with memtest86 The memory seems OK (no error detected). The only change, I have made on this machine, was to change the dd from 4Go to 100Go ! Sincerely yoursPS : my machine works with a Live CD DSL (Damn Small Linux) which is currently distributed with an old kernel :
Linux kernel binary image for version 2.4.20My goal is to be able to use this machine, with the possiblity to upgrade the packages and that is impossible with FC3.
PS : excuse me for my poor english; if you are french, you can answer me in french.
