The method is even available with the Sarge installer, though it has become increasingly simple to use. You can most easily use network console by booting with install modules=network-console or, if you want to keep the ability to manually load other components install modules?=network-console With Etch D-I, network console will not be run automatically for some installation methods (IIRC: for CD-based installs it will; for netboot it will not, but it is present in the menu so can be invoked manually from the installer's main menu after the loading of additional components). With Lenny this last issue has been fixed and network-console will be run automatically for all installation methods. Cheers, FJP
