Re: Grub loading please wait... Error 18



error 18 means that the boot partition is bigger than you BIOS can
handle (this only affects booting). To solve this, during the
partitioning step make an additional (primary) partition that is small
(512MB should be the most you'll ever need). Set that partition's
mount point to /boot. Do the rest of the installation as usual and it
will work fine.
