RAID size mismatch

Hi,

Sorry for spamming the list so hard... Now I'm missing something.
I issued the following commands in the Lenny installer:

~ # modprobe raid1
~ # mdadm --create /dev/md0 --auto=yes -l1 -n2 /dev/ram0 /dev/ram1
mdadm: array /dev/md0 started.
~ # cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1]
md0 : active raid1 ram1[1] ram0[0]
      8128 blocks [2/2] [UU]

After this partman presents me with the following menu items:

  6. RAID1 device #0 - 8.3 MB Software RAID device
  7. > #1 4.2 MB

What are those two different sizes?

~ # parted_devices
/dev/md0	4161536	Unknown
~ # mdadm -D /dev/md0
/dev/md0:
