Bug#473659: Can't open /dev/tty2: No such file or directory in d-i

Package: busybox
Version: 1:1.9.1-3
Severity: important

With a daily installer on Cobalt (mipsel) and NSLU2 (arm), I now get
the following messsages repeated on the serial console all the time:

Can't open /dev/tty2: No such file or directory
Can't open /dev/tty3: No such file or directory
Can't open /dev/tty4: No such file or directory

A daily from 2008-03-22 doesn't show this wheras one from 2008-03-23
does. This coincides nicely with the upload of the new busybox.
Putting the old busybox in the initrd makes it work again.

Note that those machines don't have tty2-4.

The log is attached.
