IMO it would be better to just leave this unchanged in kernel-wedge, but stop including it in the linux-kernel-di-* components. Reason is backwards compatibility. I do think that we should clean up kernel-wedge at some point (e.g. remove all 2.4-only modules), but it would be better to do that separately. Maybe add a TODO file in which we list modules that could be dropped + the last kernel that supported them?
