Comments/Problems:
I've performed the installation twice and each time the installer failed
to format the partition #1 for / (1GB in size) with reiserfs file
system. The installer tried to do this before the LVM configuration, the
error message was:
Partition disks:
!! The ReiserFS file system creation in partition #1 on SCSI1 (0,0,0)
(sda) failed.
I've fixed this by manually formatting /dev/sda1 from tty2 and
configuring the partition manager to DO NOT format the partition. Even
if I manually formatted the partition, the partition manager has failed
every time.
Please note that it has failed ONLY for the partition #1 (/ fs) but for
all other partitions (on LVs) it had no problem.
PS: this is my first installation report and I found the instructions from
http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/ch05s03.html#submit-bug
to be confusing (installation-report OR installation-report*s*).
