Dell C521 Issues
The Dell C521 needs to be listed as uninstallable.
The system is SATA HD and SATA DVD-ROM; cannot get past partitioning
the HD -- have tried Etch, Lenny, and a few Ubuntu versions -- system
hangs during formatting.
There is definitely a APIC bios related bug where the MPIC Timer(?) is
not connected to the other thingamabob -- to get past this I have to
use either noapic or apic=noirq
So, I have tried these various installer incantations:
install noapic
expertgui noapic
expert nolapic
expert noapic nolapic
expertgui apic=noirq
Any others you can think of I might should try?
