That'd be good. Is the .tex version active, or should it be removed?

I do think manual pages are more appropriate for this task (then again,
I would), but it does make sense to put them in installer/doc/ somewhere
so that they can be built into a .deb. They could just go in
debian-installer.deb, since that consists entirely of documentation
anyway.
