I'm requesting more information.

Which version of debian-installer was used?
(restart installation, goto console 2, open shell, cat /etc/lsb-release)

Which NIC module was modprobed? Please name the module name.

What was the reason for using the live-cd for `lspci`?
(I'm asking because d-i has lspci included
and it might that the live-cd has some function that d-i misses.)

Cheers
