g++ was _not_ installed, after a
apt-get install build-essential
it was .... grr ...
Now there is:
| ../../../src/mklibs-readelf/elf.cpp:21:24: error: elf_data.hpp: No such file or directory
| ../../../src/mklibs-readelf/elf.cpp:29: error: 'Elf' is not a namespace-name
| ../../../src/mklibs-readelf/elf.cpp:29: error: expected namespace-name before ';' token
| ../../../src/mklibs-readelf/elf.cpp:31: error: expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '::' token
| ../../../src/mklibs-readelf/elf.cpp:38: error: expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '*' token
| make[4]: *** [elf.o] Error 1
mklibs-0.1.24 compiled fine
Installed g++ is 4:4.2.1-6
I hope that this helps.
Cheers
