So you have a suggestion to keep track of the discussion? It seems to turn out that this "memory reduction" discussion impacs several packages: - localechooser (to keep track of font inf) - lowmem - to have special actions in some situations) - maybe main-menu (to disable the language selection step to be displayed) ...anbd maybe others. This is maybe time for a wiki page to keep track of this "memory reduction" issue....with hopefully someone feeling responsible enough and skilled enough to keep track of all actions that have to happen to achieve this goal. --
