rootfstype=nfs

Hello,
may i ask for ur help.

i'm configuring a netbooting environment but i have
some problems.
on of them was:
pivot_root: no such file or directory
chroot: cannot run command '/sbin/init' no such file
or directory
kernel panic: attempted to kill init

after changing in the pxelinux.cfg file and adding the
rootfstype=nfs option in the command line
i got that error:
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k nfs, errno=2
VFS: cannot open root device "nfs" or 00:ff
please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 00:ff

here is my cmdline
append initrd=old/debian-sarge-3.1/initrd.img ip=dhcp
root=/dev/nfs rootfstype=nfs  rootflags=0
nfsroot=172.22.0.9:/netboot

may u help me to find what is missing

thanks in advance

Yours

Heba
