Hi,

There is something which bothers me for some time now... The protocol
for accessing a Debian mirror is always http in d-i. In the past,
it used to be either http or ftp. Both were available, but nowadays
only http remains even in expert mode. This is quite harmful in a
minimal setup with *no* web server and it explains the severity that I
set. It is also weird, because the protocol to download/upload *files*
is primarily ftp AFAIK and the host is ftp.<country>.debian.org.

It would be nice to restore this functionality in expert mode at least.

Cheers,

Daily built images support FTP again since a few weeks.
